@LA Duck Uncle Phil or not Oregon will not outspend the big boys that care about football...rich get richer and poor get poorer...Oregon along with the rest of the PAC are not big boys...they are missing all the tools that allow the exposure and the fanatics that will pay for what they want...and with the NIL the money will always be sent to those who have the exposure and the fans and boosters.....anbd that goes for USC as well...because even the timezone works against the PAC

@LA Duck the cash doesnt always work. More money flows in the media capital fo the country, Los Angeles to celebrities than you can imagine. Wilcox dissed UO to stay at CAL, so we can see people see Eugene as a stepping stone even today.

LOL...we don't know yet how Dan Lanning will be as a head coach. He certainly could be very mediocre or he could be....???....we shall see and it will be fun finding out. At least as being labeled the 8th best recruiter in the nation, he's got that part of the equation down. And the better the recruits, the more likely a team will make the playoffs/championship game. That part is fact.

Maybe someone better advise your new coach DeBoner that it all starts with recruiting. A #89 recruiting class for Washington, last in the p12, after the early signing period isn't going to help him now that he'll have to play the majority of his games vs the big boy power 5 teams.

It is a fact that mediocre coaching and your sunshine pumping will never give you a sniff of a playoff/championship game. Heck, that even can't give you a conference title. Utah proved that this season. Twice. In blow out fasion no less.
