Transfer QB Ethan Garbers granted eligibility for the 2021 season

With dat's running style that's some good depth. SC could use some experience depth at QB, but alas. Not to be.

@the909trojan Yeah, just gotta hope Slovis stays upright this year, and then maybe get someone with good experience in the transfer portal for 2022, unless one of the freshmen is ready to take over next year.

@ATLBRUIN considering he hasn't been able to stay upright thus far, it's going to be an interesting year. Factor in JT's injuries the year prior to Slovis and there's a trend there.

I have been around but not much to talk about right now unless I get asked a specific question.

I read articles from the committed recruits when Petersen retired and it was pretty clear Garbers was about the only one who had mixed feelings and he was going to re-think his commitment. Garbers had time to explore his options but signed with UW anyway.

If Garbers works out for UCLA, he'll be one of the few transfer QBs who has.

By the way, Yankoff isn't working out, from what I've read.
