I didn’t watch a second of the game but I’ve read on other boards that the Trojan DBs were grabbing and holding all night and the refs didn’t call it. On one interceptio, the Trojan DB grabbed and pulled the WRs jersey and then intercepted it. Basically cost the Beavers the game. This was an egregious non-call according to the people who saw it. We know this was a funny line. Maybe it wasn’t so much the QB throwing the game but the refs. According to the viewers it was pretty bad. Fixed?

From the reports I read, this was above and beyond just being a little physical. Not sure what the refs were doing but it does explain the interceptions - guys weren’t where Nplan thought they’d be. Again, I didn’t watch so I’m only going by what I read.
About time the PAC officials caught up to the rest of college football. Riley has stated openly that he expects his DB's to be aggressive and physical...in fact they are being coached to play both aggressive and physical...not that pussy ball the PAC was famous for. Now if the Conference can only do three more things...1.) Teach the officials the rules and 2.) Teach the officials to be consistent...3.) Tech the officials to not be homers...
do those three things and maybe just maybe the PAC would have some decent officiating..
It cost them the game in the sense that two minutes later they got the ball back thirty yards away from the endzone lol.
I hate to break it to you Vista but every single db on every single defensive play is holding the receivers not just USC. It’s the only way they have a chance of stopping them under current rules favoring the offense. Oregon State DB’s we’re holding too. Db’s are like offensive lineman who hold on every play figuring the officials can’t/won’t
call holding on every play. As for the interception on the goal line the tug was almost imperceptible to the official and wouldn’t have been called if he saw it anyway. And it was a great interception. Overall a well officiated game. The officials did NOT decide this game. Only losers think soo.
Art is the one who brought up the possibility. I’m just expanding the topic further.
for sure
you can always tell when a game is fixed,
all of a sudden, it's tipped balls everywhere and an interception or four
good eye!
vistaldel11, grabbing and holding is an American tradition done very often at the line of scrimmage and by DB's by BOTH teams! Try watching any FB game in slow motion. BTW, also done very often in an office environment. Right SC?
