Trojans -6.5 has to be the lock of the week

The Beavers are another in a long line of bad defensive teams on the Trojans schedule. Whoever made this schedule knew what he or she was doing. The Bulldogs outgained the Beavers by almost 100 yards.

The Beavers don’t have much of a pass rush, don’t have any great DBs, and don’t have any linebackers who can dominate. The Beavers also don’t have much firepower on offense. Nolan is ok at QB but he’s not going to throw for close to 300.

Many are calling Caleb Williams and Addison the best duo in Trojans history. With all that, you’re telling me the Trojans can‘t win one half by at least a td and tie in the other half? Really? The Trojans have a bad defense but the Beavers aren’t the team that will take advantage. Not sure why anyone would take the Beavers in this one to keep it within a td in CFB.

you don't know much about football, do you? Unlike UCLA, teams get UP to play USC, especially when they are on a roll. OSU will be ready to play.

The poster makes a good point I’ll gladly put money on the Trojans and give up 6.5. This is about making money and yes OSU will be ready to play but if you think they can put the same athletes on the field as SC you don’t know much about football. Corvallis ain’t LA

No but road games in college and especially the PAC are hard. Look at where teams play well and how they look on the road. What USC did at Stanford was an anomaly. The second half maybe more realistic. I liked USC big in that game. I did not know what to predict about Fresno. A team that played USC well until they lost their top O and D players. Including their very good QB. This is at OSU. A team that beat Fresno with Haener there the whole game and a packed house at Fresno going wild.

I do not know what to predict with OSU or WSU for that matter.

You mean like Fresno and Furd? They’ll be up alright, if you’ve ever played football you know that lasts for 3 plays and then it’s back to execution.

Beavers are an average team in a weak conference. Addison will be open all game. Unless Williams gets hurt, this will be an easy W.

If I had to put 10k on a game, this would be the one. The Beavers are just an average or a little above average Pac 12 team - there’s nothing special about them.
