He should talk about how usc ran over his team on the plains. He was definitely there for that.
Trump got it wrong.....but it only means Tuberville never coached Mahomes but that doesn't mean that they weren't interested and recruting him since the timeline is pretty tight and typically you start evaluating HS kids by sometimes as early as their sophmore/junior seasons....the fact he never met Mahomes is again a fact. The extension of an offer under Tuberville never happened but does that mean his program never looked at the kid and evaluated him.........
Tuberville coached at Texas Tech from 2010 to 2012 before leaving for the University of Cincinnati. Mahomes didn't arrive at Texas Tech until 2014, where he played under head coach Kliff Kingsbury before being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017.
