Oregon barely got by Cal at home. There are no good teams in the conference, certainly when looking at the entire CFB landscape. Maybe ASU is decent. Ucla isn't bad from a conference standpoint. They could win the south, maybe the conf title. Who knows?
Sad but true. Chip may survive, but UCLA had started a quiet coach search including contacting coach candidates for UCLA including Rachel Levine and Lori Lightfoot. Each were felt to strong leader like Norm Chow.
That’s an interesting post buddy, you‘re going to bet big because Oregon has way too much talent for UCLA yet it will be decided in the last minute. No home field advantage according to you so why will the game be so close?
@rwc1952 Don't you need enthusiastic fans for a home filed advantage? Maybe UCLA surprises me with more than 10-15000 fans actually screaming for a UCLA win. Wouldn't totally surprise me if UCLA has more support than it had for ASU and LSU and it wouldn't surprise me totally if UCLA won. I just believe the talent differential and recent history favors Oregon.
@buddyboy We are way apart on that one. DTR has done a good job this year he has a QBR rating of 76.7 which is top 15 in the country. He has thrown for over 1400 yds with 13 TD’s in 7 games and rushed for almost 400 yds and 5 more TD’s. Did you watch the Wash game? He did it all. They average 35 pts a game with DTR starting. The 2 losses were all on the defense. UCLA is a run first offense and that’s by design so your Point there makes no sense. DTR’s role in the offense is a duel threat that can attack a defense with his zone read ability, his strong arm or take off with his speed when receivers are covered or on a broken play. Bottom line He’s a lot to defend. Chip does seem to get the most out of his QB’s and Dorian is no exception. He was never a bad QB just a raw talent when he came to Ucla and now he’s very good. I enjoy watching him play.
@rwc1952 Whatever success he has had THIS year is a result of Kelly keeping him within his low talent level. No long passes.
UCLA IS RANKED 10th of 12 in the Pac 12 for passing offense and DTR has been in the program 4 years. DO YOU GET THAT? That means 9 other Pac 12 programs have a better passing offense and UCLA's passing problems are not dropped passes or poor receivers or a bad offensive line.
@buddyboy UCLA doesn’t throw the ball as much as some of those air raid offenses so I wouldn’t expect them to be towards the top In passing. Kelly likes to run the ball and passing second. Despite being a balanced offense their isn‘t that much difference separating them from the other teams in passing yardage. The top two SC and WSU have thrown the ball 87 more times and look at their record. Does SC ever run the ball? I’m not saying DTR is a great QB just not agreeing with you that he’s bad that’s ridiculous. He‘s been efficient for the amount of times they have put it in the air and I would put him second to Jayden Daniels as a duel threat in the conference.
UCLA is going to destroy these guys then win the league you cawk sucking maggots.
alty should be here soon to gleefully proclaim "we're in the top 25."

Thats actually pretty impressive for Bruins. Being serious
I am going to bet big. There is no home field advantage for UCLA. Oregon has way way to much talent for UCLA.
I think Oregon wins on a last minute touchdown or field goal.
But I luv the job Chip is doing. He is a very good coach even if he is not a very good recruiter.
Oregon, since the OSU game has not wowed anyone the line is about right. wont be shocked by a Bruin win
