Q: What do you call a parasite sucking on another parasite?
A: Cal football
Here's UCLA on the left and Cal on the Right; now that Cal is more moderate and sensible than marxist UCLA the photo arrangement makes sense. UCLA, the hostage, has the gag.
When the regents agreed to let UCLA go to the Big 10, reparations to Cal were in the agreement. The suggested amount was from $2 million to a max of $10 million til 2030. It’s up to the University if California President Michael Drake to set the amount. It looks like he is setting it at $10 million.
I doubt UCLA pays that amount. No fan of UCLA but screw Cal. They don’t deserve the money
Seriously, who would want to be on the receiving end of that shit?
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Memorial Stadium for another exciting day of college football, featuring your California Golden Bears -- brought to you by UCLA!!"
That’s funny. Although reparations thru 2030 were in the agreement the amount set was between $2 and $10 million. Drake the Cal Chancellor gets to set the amount. He is setting it at $10 million. I would sue his a$$ before giving $10 million.
I'm not sure UCLA can sue, since both of the universities are part of the UC system. But I can see this thing going to some sort of arbitration where a different amount is agreed upon. I think $10 million a year is exorbitant. I think any amount is really kind of bogus, but I don't think UCLA is going to get away without paying something.
I think Cal ends up with no more than $5 million per year thru 2024. Cal’s real problem is the debt service to their stadium remodel which is $20 million per year

UPDATED: UC Regents order UCLA to pay $10 million annually in 'Calimony' for three years.
UCLA deserves to pay the leach.

That's embarrassing, especially for Kal.

UCLA will never pay, that is just a suggested amount. UCLA should suggest that Kal goes and gets bent.
Cal has actually signed a few decent portal players with that money. They also held onto their RB, Ott, who is a really good fb player.
