UCLA is playing physical ball , and both lines are playing much better. They need to clean up all the stupid penalties, it nearly cost them the last two games.
9 penalties for 84 yds last night is hardly conducive for a coach that emphasizes discipline as one of his pillars.
Physicality, that has been the main principle for FB since it became a serious sport 130+ years ago. USC is missing this key ingredient and needs a true and real hard nose HC. Looks like C. Foster has instill that to his team, good for him and UCLA.
Man, I remember D. Foster playing at Tustin HS wow! Deshaun was a big RB, 6-1, 225 lbs. Old school RB. He was California Player of the Year. His senior stats, 4,000 yds + 59 TD, crazy numbers. It took 3 to 4 guys bring him down and he had good speed. Saw him play 3 times in HS on TV, no question D. Foster is one of the very best RB in SS CIF history, Top 10.
His team Tustin HS and Carson Palmer's team, Santa Margarita played for the 1997 CIF title, won by SM HS, 55-42. One of the very best HS games I've ever seen in my life time, Top 10 for sure. It was a Great and Epic battle between 2 great players. Deshaun ran for 380 yds + 6 TD's, Carson passed for 415 yds, 5 TD's These 2 continued their rivalry in college, Foster-UCLA and Carson-USC. I loved seeing them battle in college.
And, C. LR think Calif players are soft, what a freaken fool... Cheers.
Good game…. Again, I don’t understand why so many bruins are bitching about the team. Ucla is playing (performing) above their weight class. I called it here over a month ago when they were losing close games. Not sure id get too excited at this point, but there might be something here to build on.
That loss to MN really hurt, because the Bruins had it. MN is pretty good, but not THAT good, and the Bruins should have won. Foster fucked the dog in that one.
If the Bruins beat the Gophers, bowl eligibility is definitely within reach, which is all anyone really expected. As it stands now, the Bruins have to win two of the next three games. Not gonna be easy.

Congrats ATLBRUIN! Good win. Right SC?
Congrats. They look improved
I can't believe USC and ucla are a tossup this season. What a shitty season this has turned out to be.
I watched most of the game. Iowa was down to their 4th string quarterback. However UCLA dominated both lines of scrimmage and deserved the win.
They are playing much better as the season progresses.
Good win
