I was looking forward to seeing him play, but who knows if he would have been a pro-style quarterback in the vein that Chip wants. So, I'm looking forward to seeing what Garbers can do. Still, losing Dillon was something I didn't want to see; he looks like he's got a lot of athleticism.
I never thought Dillon was a good fit anyway. He is a bit undersized and hasn’t faced the same kind of competition. DTR is more than likely returning and Garbers is more than capable. The guy no one talks about much is incoming Justyn Martin and he may be the most talented of all. Seen him play and he can throw every kind of pass from anywhere on the field, has good size at 6-4 200+ and can run.
@OldHickoryTrojan You don’t grasp the concept of what makes a conference worse/better than others. Take Bama out of the SEC, and it’s the 4th best conference.
B10 is the best conference top to bottom, B10 East is by far the best division.
@San Clemente The BCS game was sceduled for the Rose Bowl but the state of California refused to let it be played there so it was moved to Texas....BAMA was ready to play it there but the state refused...BAMA had no say in it...
Ducks just lost a QB to the portal (Robby Ashford). Kid is from the state of Alabama, but I’m sure Chip is looking to replace Gabriel. SMH, free agency at its finest.
For some reasojn Oregon was named as a possibe destination for Caleb Wiliams allong with several SEC teams and a Big 10 team that is under NCAA investigation
@OldHickoryTrojan Oregon is not pursuing Williams. Word on the street is he (and his family) is going to the highest bidder. The difference now with NIL is it's (mostly) on the up-and-up, to a degree at least. So who can provide them the most favorable NIL package?
Welcome to College Football circa 2022, gentlemen. 😝
@Coachemup! Good info. Wondering if WR BoBo is bummed. Honestly, I chuckled, but this transfer portal bs is out of control. These people who are backing the players on every issue and rejecting any type of regulation are going to end up regretting it, if in fact they truly love the game of college football.
Oh where have you gone Jimmy Plunket? Allowed to go to the NFL early because of hardship (both parents blind) and he elects to play his final year at Stanford. Now, players won't even play in bowl games, deserting their teams.

Is this the Wave/Kaboom Coach & Atl were referring to?

When Jeff Lebby (former UCF OC) became the QB coach and OC at OK it seemed like the logical move.
