i understand the giddiness, it was a big win for a team and fans thirsty for something positive. im hoping Chip gets that multi year contract extension.
Not only guys buying into it, but guys getting developed and coached up as well. UCLA could have up to 8-9 guys taken in the 2022 draft; OL's Sean Rhyan, Alec Anderson and Paul Grattan, RB Zach Charbonnet, TE Greg Dulcich, DT Otito Ogbannia, LB's Caleb Johnson and Mitchell Agude, Safety Quentin Lake, and Striker Quintezz Knight. If Kyle Phillips doesn't get drafted, he will be quickly snapped up as an UFA.
During this time, we've seen major LSU staff changes; Woodward's willingness to give O whatever he requested; major hurricanes, COVID19, the transfer portal, LSU Title IX issues; and NIL. And we saw a Tulane team deal with much of the same adversity.
Looking at the recruiting classes, one has to wonder how UCLA stayed on the field with LSU. Every team suffers adversity. But in the best circumstance, team leadership and coaching prevail.
Tigahs, I'm shaking my head. LSU can do better than this.”
Good topic here
It's all pretty obvious to this quack.....Chip doesn't need the best players to run his various offenses, just guys who buy in to it.
Can't speak to the defense, but looks like UCLA is more than adequate there too.
Fun to see!!!
Saw this on an LSU forum
“and what else do we know or didn't know? Recruiting:
LSU - 2021 #3; 2020 #4; 2019 #5; 2018 #15; 2017 #7
UCLA - 2021 #31; 2020 #33; 2019 #40; 2018 #19; 2017 #20
