In rushing yards. Tops in Pac. Chip has some horses and the scheme. Offense is gonna be good. Just like it was last year.
Their issue, and his issue, as always will be defense.
LSU vs UCLA is going to be a good game and Bruins could beat them. It’s going to be a contest without question. This is not the Burrow team they are playing.
In women's softball.
@BigBallss Bruins can't ever get a pass rush, that's been their problem for a long time. Not since Barr and Co. were they able to sustain pressure on the QB. Until they can, they won't get over the hump.
This is the Year Chip has been shooting for to make his case for a contract extension. Good Oline , running back and seasoned QB. It’s all there for Chip to finally break the streak of ucla consecutive losing seasons ( I’m hoping he can make it to 8 consecutive losing seasons. The 8 crap streak). but the recruiting gaffes of Mora and Chip are too many and they are cumulative. pulling for the bruins to beat that dog shit program from Baton Rouge. But in my experience with pulling for the bruins to win a game, blue ballss.
I agree about the defense that will really be the key. Always has been a weakness at UCLA and thats the difference. I still can’t believe they led the Pac last year in sacks and really weren’t a gambling blitzing defense. This year more depth and more physical so we’ll see. Chips produced the offense now it’s time to get it going on the other end.
Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. The LB/DB play has been a see-saw for the bruins, and there has been a lack of situational awareness from the corners that was a big reason for most of the losses last season. The Bruins were in a position to win those games, but there were too many third down conversions on fairly simple passing plays (and in the USC game just plain old abortion of coverage) that just killed them. Some of the Bruin LB's probably had to have their cleats tied for them they were so damn stiff. The grad transfer/transfer meat market has brought in some new blood to those positions. From what it looks like the new guys have that awareness that was lacking,. I don't think the Bruins will put together a 10 win season by any means, but I do think the additions will give the team a few extra close wins. In five days everyone will be watching. I fully expect them to struggle with Hawaii early and then pull away in the second half, because Chip Kelly is a stubborn dipshit and is going to try to be the smartest guy in the room. The score will look OK, but to anyone watching it will be a nightmare. LSU will be an Ass-To-Mouth beat-down, and the rest of the games are probably toss ups. I call 7-5, and Chip gets shit-canned to bring in the Hafley guy from BC.
