BTW it takes more than simply having the best recruiting classes to win a national championship (ESPECIALLY in the 12-team playoff format we have today).
Or did USC's constantly signing recruiting classes in the top 3 year after year following your last championship in 2004 tell you nothing? 😂

The NIL, pay for play, and growing profit enterprise status of college football is threatening the non-profit status of major private research universities. Low tier public universities like Oregon don't care. They're not a research U and bottom feed academically. It will be interesting to see where this madness ends up.
