Updated pac media negotiations

APPL TV is out per two sources. Taking too long to negotiate and PAC wants one game on ESPN ( pac after dark). APPL said No.

Ducks / UW want short term GOR - 4 years and unequal revenue sharing.

AZ appears to be the only school interested in the big 12. Due to Hoops.

PAC schools want a media deal on the table by Mid April. Do not want this to drag out until the summer If possible.

Not a bad idea, my friend! ESPN is said to be worth roughly $40 billion.

Easier than starting from the ground up, Phil could simply buy ESPN at that price and still live off of his remaining $6 billion. 😁

I read the SEC might have Arizona interested. Big 12 is on the hunt according to their Commish. Looking to add additional schools besides the crew they are just letting in. PAC would be nuts not to jump on that opportunity especially those with low academic standards.

Would be surprising, assuming you mean UofA only and not asu. UofA don’t draw And has minimal viewership. Aside from west coast exposure, kind of, Tucson is a turd of a small city. Brutal down there.

asu would seem more attractive if one but not the other is available.

Everything is fluid. Just last week APPL was a major player. Now they’re not. You could have AZ jump to the big 12 next month, today they’re still committed to the PAC.

SC/ UCLA said they were commited to the PAC until they weren’t.

it’s like coaches saying they’re committed to a school , next day they resign and at a new school.
