Trojans have 231 points with 13 recruits, trailing State Penn and Michigan who outnumber us with 20 and 23 commits each. Trojans rank second behind Ohio State if you sort by quality points. USC should jump into second overall by the end of the week. Off the top of my head the only 5* we have a shot at is WR Mike Matthews who is down to USC and looking to be a paid volunteer at Tennessee. Interestingly Matthews was hosted by Bru on his visit to Tennessee. That had to be an interesting conversation. Next to commit to USC: 4* Marquis Gallegos who will pick USC over Oregon, Oklahoma, among others. 4:00 pm pst today.
Sort of a horse race, I see USC overtaking Oregon for #1 in the conference soon. But then I see Oregon challenging USC again around Sept/Oct for #1. Depends on a few 5*s my quacks are in contention for right now.
Should be a very interesting final 6 months to the December signing period!
