USC AD Press Conference @1:00. It’s UW’s AD

It is the university's position, like UCLA, Michigan and many others. If USC wants to go that direction, I don't think Cohen would (or could) get in the way.

Good to know....UW in the Big will have a hard time iMHO wothout NIL for some HS players unproven or not......and I wouldn't use Michigan as an example with their HC illegally recruiting. Got to wonder how much of their stance on NIL is merely for public consumption because Harbaugh is not above doing shady stuff..

Actually, it looks like to me UW is going in a different direction, with nothing to back up my assumption. UW recruiting class sits at around 12 or so comits and from what I have heard, they will only add 1 or 2 more HS players if they fit what UW is after. That doesn't mean chasing rating stars or recruiting those with their hand out. After each season, depending on who declares for the draft, entering the portal or just simply are done with football, UW will evaluate the roster use scholarships and NIL money for the transfer portal. UW will lose a few players after 2023 and even though there is quality depth and young players are stepping up, there will still be some holes in the roster. With recruiting ranking using the number of signees (a stupid way), UW will not 'rank' very high. But again, UW has never 'chased stars' anyway.

USC fans are only happy if the AD is someone they would bang.

My comments are on base ...nothing in her statements say...we will get it done ( legally) to get the players we want.....but rather "trying to find a NIL deal".....huge difference in trying and doing IMHO....and her coments on the NCAA look like a pipe dream....nothing has been done by the NCAA....the IRS has done more than the NCAA in that regards..

I hear ya, but why speculate on what CLR thinks? You just threw out a total guess, and it was based on nothing more than how you feel about the hire.

So here's something interesting. Just got word from over on a USC pay site that Cohen was CLR's first choice. This came from a great source. I don't know him/her but know the info from the source is and he's legit. Doesn't put out a lot of info, but when he/shedoes, its accurate. FWIW.

Look, when USC steps in shit, call it for what it is. I have done so many times. Just seems to me we are doing nothing more than sharing our own personal feelings about the hire. I don't like this woke crap either. All that matters is she's a good AD. Possible?
