This kid had some talent but never got his head into the game...never liked him starting at Corner ...his effort always seemed lacking even when the Coaches complimented him continuously...mybe a change in scenery will correct that...
He had nothing to do with those players, again, he rode the horses he was given. He did not recruit, came in late in the game, and let the DL do their thing. He did nothing earth shattering, other than get out of the way.
The ruling on the field is that the Offensive Player spiked the ball before crossing the goal line resulting in a fumble recovery by the Defense (fans Jeer, ESPN runs shameful play over and over again all week).
UCLA had a lot more talent that he walked into than USC did. UCLA was a school that had had a bad D and been losers a long time.
USC was supposed to compete for the playoff and failed miserably. As a result there were a lot of unhappy people who needed to be shuffled in and out. It's sort of like when Paul Hackett took off and Pete Carroll took over. Hackett had a lot of talent on that roster. Didn't do jack with it.

We’ll take this guy.
