USC DC Alex Grinch hopes to improve on mistakes of last season with speed, technique

@Fraud I think he was kept on to help recruit a few players that he had established relationships with beforehand. I don’t think Donte is in LRs long term plans. Mostly because he’s a shitty position coach. That’s my gut feeling on it.

@August West yeah, those 8 WRs are really going to make an impact. Mediocre breeds failure. Flushing the season seems like a stupid start.

Grinch had a nationally ranked #16 in the country defense when he was DC at WSU..and had top 30 defenses until this last season. I suspect the defense for the next couple seasons wil be patchwork but I beleive once they build the program that his D will be fine in the PAC...since at WSU it was better then fine..

@OldHickoryTrojan I agree….they gad issues with injuries and depth in the secondary later on.

@OldHickoryTrojan did not know that. just know that per the NCAA he went from 27 to 76th the last two seasons. It's the direction that concerns me. I do like his scheme. Now if we can just get some one in the portal this spring that knows how to play football. sc
