Sources: USC, Chad Bowden beefing up personnel department with Logan Snead
Son of Los Angeles Rams G.M. taking on scouting role for USC football
Another week, another move to signal USC's ongoing commitment to beefing up its personnel and scouting department.
This addition has college football playing experience and direct ties to the NFL.
Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that USC is hiring Logan Snead to join Chad Bowden's personnel empire and assistant in multiple facets inside coach Lincoln Riley's Trojans program.
The son of Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead, Logan Snead played college football including four years at San Diego.
He was a name people brought up as a potential GM candidate. Obviously a little light on experience compared to Bowden. Similarly, great bloodlines for athletic admin. His dad is very creative and aggressive.

They are really pouring into this. What is interesting now is that it would appear the other two guys USC has hired will be high school recruiting guys. This one will focus on the transfer portal and opponent scouting. I am guessing Bowden will direct all of it and negotiate the contracts and deals. And also direct the support admin people to line up coaches for calls, texts and visits to targets. That way coaches aren't as much recruiting as they are making appearances in front of recruits.
