The crazy thing is from 1950 -1999 UCLA and USC were usually evenly matched unless one team was very down. Since 2006, the teams have been pretty evenly matched. uSC got the calls that swayed the outcome in their favor more than a few times. The phantom PI with seconds left in ‘77 (Easley and Co. shut down C. White) and Afholter’s dropped td pass that was ruled a td are two that came to mind.
It came out a few years ago that certain refs received real estate as payment by SC boosters. Always cheating. Haha
You forgot the mark left by the cheating and scandals though. Time will eventually loosen the soil of the stain, so not necessarily indelible, but unpleasant nonetheless.
11 Titles is BS. Still counting the two in 04,05. NCAA took one away. The other LSU won the BCS title. SC didn’t even make it to the title game. there’s another bogus one decades ago , but can’t recall. SC has been insignificant since 78.
a has been. Princeton can play that game, they have 28 National titles. No one cares
SC was cheating before their was cheating.
Bruins will be missed. They were honest all these years for the most part.
good riddance. Enjoy traveling with your friend to Pedd st, Purdue in the winter.
Ducks gonna be in playoffs over the next ten years winning the PAC. Auto bid
SC? No.
One word of caution. Nebraska left for the B1G with domination in mind. More than a decade later, they are basically wyoming, which is where they should have been all along.
USC gonna have to get away from finesse football if they want to dominatethe B1G. Right now, they don't have the coaches for it.
