From Kansas. 2 in the country. I find it surprising that USC, a team that throws a lot and uses the TE little. Manages to be in on so many great TE's. I mean it's like they are recruiting a whole team of them. Is the idea that the skinny ones they will allow to become big WR like Deuce and the guys who grow will become OL?
That was an old time strategy that Dennis Erickson, Jimmy Johnson and Ed O preferred. Recruit corners and turn them into safeties. DE became DT, LB to DE etc. jake Rogers was recruited as a skinny TE and after years of "bulking up" played OT very well at USC. Always was perplexed how his health and NFL career quickly evaporated. Color me suspicious.
Anyway, USC in on another top TE. Curious what their thoughts are. Harbaugh also likes having a lot of TE. Stanford too. They like those heavy jump packages. But the Stanford, Michigan offenses are nothign like Rileys. Perplexed.
Oh and big surprise. Kansas Because there surely isn't a decent big body pass catcher anywhere in Southern California
Bama has 3 DB's in the portal. All young I think and all vying for PT next year. This is silly. Basically if you're a freshman these days and you didn't get significant PT or start? Or your handler is whispering about $$ elsewhere? Off you go. Stupid
