So am I. The kid took over games in HS including an All-Star game at WR. Hard to beleive he would sit and Mario Williams would play. Is the playbook to difficult to understand or the routes so complicated he couldn't figure them out? Sometimes you need to allow a player to use his god given talent and not constrain it as long as it's not detrimental to the team...IMHO....
Moss. Soon as usc gets their transfer qb moss is gone. He's already lost the starting job to about every usc at usc since Matt leinart. At some point he gets the hint and leaves
Only player on that list that I think deserved to have gotten more playing time is Davis if he had real LBer coach and ran a different scheme. Love to see the Ohio St transfer who played Safety leave. but unlikely. Surprised on the older Branch would stick it with the poor play of the Safety's and he got minimum playng time although he might still be injured. Wonder if both frosh runningbacks stick around if Lloyd returns.
The new DC won't have much time to evaluate not only the recruits, but more importantly the players currently on the team. He's going to have to watch a lot of film to see who he likes and who he does not. As far as I'm concerned, do we really know who can play? And as far as position coaches, who can actually coach. The problem you have when the entire system was seriously flawed.
I understand your point about the need to buy HS recruits. Things are different at UW. Most resonable fans expect a winning record/bowl game every season, be in the confernce race every year in November, win the conference every few years and compete for a NC in a 6-10 year time frame. UW has done that and can do that with quality players that see a bigger picture. UW has never been, and never will be an Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St, Michigan or even a USC.
I know USC expects to compete for NC's every season. It is just different.

Gentry.
On Ryan's Tunnel Vision, they pointed out something Gentry tweeted about a critical comment Riley made why Gentry didn't play early in the season.
Don't think you are staying around when you directly ciriticize the coach.
