no, there is no such thing as a former Trojan. Once a USC trojan, ALWAYS a USC TROJAN.
And yes that includes Kyle Ford. asshole, but still a trojan. TROJAN IS FOR LIFE. Ask him in 10 years if he's a bruin or a trojan. It's a family thing.
Winston, a 4 star bust from Portland has to be closing in on 30. JJjr would have been a starter if fat boy Hugs were still at SC.
Anyways, here is my favorite video summary.
Hope to avoid injuries. Not even sure Caleb should even play. He doesn't need to.. It's a freaking scrimmage. Why risk it?
Personally I like teams like the Wolf Pack. Mostly made up of young guys that aren't genetic freaks. Way better than me for sure, but guys I played with. High school stars. Can't lean on physical dominance so they actually know and love the game.
Speaking of high school stars. They do have Oregon Bust from Mater Dei's Sean Dollar who was rated as the 74th best high school player in the country by Rivals back in high school .
The interesting thing to me about the video was that Nevada (who the hell could live in reno?) runs the same defense as the grinch. Bet those kids know their assignments. Bet they don't miss a lot of tackles. Will still get run over, but they won't be embarrassed like the Grinch in the cotton bowl.
I hope SC doesn't run up the score. Last week SC played 60. This week SC should get 70 guys on the field. Good for the team.
ps. great to hear John Jackson 100 percent on the Trojan Radio Broadcast. Dude had been through hell. A true TROJAN. sc
When kids transfer they've abandoned the program. I don't care what happens to them or where they go. i'm not positive, but I think I'd rather have them fail.
FYI
much of the Baltimore Ravens scheme is very Grinch like
it's how most teams try to manage four and five wide
There's like 10-12 former PAC12 players alone on Nevada. There are several other new transfers. So the talent might have upgraded overall but with so many new players this year USC should cover the 38 point spread.
