SC has one of the best rushing attack in B10, and the shortbus playcaller keeps throwing the ball. Older he gets the more he wants to be like Leach….sans the humor.
The real numbers are:
Marks/Joyner - 18 carries
Miller Moss - 28 attempts.
18/46=0.39
39% run
61% pass
Season average:
40% run
60% pass
IOW..nothing changed. Except the quality of the opponent.
Probably were 45k there. The Dodger Grand Slam and the drone show at halftime lit up the place.
Rutgers RB #5 is a pro. SC did change things up a bit and actually returned come KOs (benched #1) and showed some new formations with players in different spots. Finally.
Crossing routes killed Rutgers. Defense bends and occasionally breaks. Refs still hate SC for some reason.
All in all a fun game. Got to go on the field with some parent and recruits after the game.
Rutgers did control the game. USC had the talent to overcome the Knights. Rutgers used the same game plan Penn St, Wisconsin and Minn used, wear the Trojans out. Lincoln assists his opponents through the play calling. Hence the Defense is tired and gets injured. During the 3rd quarter the Brock Hurd remarked Rutgers has 83 plays to 42 to SC and of those, less than 15 were running plays. No wonder MM gets killed every week n the defense is worn out.
Riley has to wake up! He is playing in a power football conference. ND is gonna kill what will be left of the Trojan team.
Same shit playcalling.

A statistical deadlock really. Kind of surprising USC won by 3 td
