Almost guaranteed: TRUE.

It's ND and after that the schedule heats up with only Cal to break the up the onslaught.

Depends on how physically the practice. Riley and Grinch need to take this season a lot more serious.

CO will be a lot closer than people are expecting. Weather could play a critical factor should they get an earlier cold snap/snow storm than usual. And Deion will have that game circled, plan on it.

agree with each your points. my point is, if Riley is serious about getting to the CFP this year, he needs to use the pre-ND games to toughen up his squad and getting the schemes and tackling perfected. If he doesn't, as you say, the second half of the season will be his comeupance, just as the championship and bowl games vs Utah and Tulane were last year. I want to see if he can learn from his mistakes. The last few coaches, including PC post-Chow didn't/couldn't.

Definitely true. But if you don't use it, you lose it. This applies to tackling technique like anything else. LR needs to make this a priority.

Depends on how the cobbled together trenches gel. There's certainly a HUGE talent gap at the skill positions with every team on the schedule. Thr 3 & 4 star kids with some tier 2 tranafers and rejects need to figure it out fast. Given that we have the same coaches as last year, it's likely that they'll need to fugure it out on their own.
