Offense will be what Riley offenses are.

The D will make massive strides.

Yup. The offense mostly sucked last year. Riley guaranteed playing time to lower quality WRs and RBs. His schemes are mediocre and timing was awful. Game management is retarded. Travel and trip management is pathetic. Special teams are always bad with Riley teams. Maybe Entz turns the defense and toughness around. Riley has only given him 2nd team quality to work with. 6 or 7 wins max. Hopefully, a tarmacing and the Entz era begins.

Right now, the teams in college football that will compete for a natty are ONLY those teams with a billionaire sugar-daddy. SC doesn't have one of those and CLR might be an offensive genius , but he isn't a good enough head coach to overcome this. sc
