Seems to be a trend in road games. Riley has plenty of brainfarts as well, oftentimes ignoring the running game and going with low percentage passes resulting in 3s and outs. He has a little bit of Fade in him at times.
How much of the problem is that SC didn't score more than 48 points vs. Colorado didn't score LESS than 41 points? I do (strongly) admit that our offense was unacceptable in the 4th quarter.
The assumption that USC's offense is unstoppable is false. Like the post I pasted yesterday, Riley's adjustments at halftime aren't working and there is a considerable drop off. Yesterday was another example.
I think there was some of that last year until he ditched the whole non elusive thing and took off He's kind of back to being "that guy" again. Except he's more polished now
But this is college football, and the style offense, that he plays, and requires the quarterback to move the chains and run. And he's sort of turned into a home run guy
Agree. Caleb takes the swing and other short passes in the second half and we rack up first downs and eat clock. He got impatient or maybe it was the play calling. Who knows. But the difference was obvious in second half.
Maybe the Colorado Buffaloes were just REALLY motivated by Coach Prime's pregame speaker...

not to worry
once the Grinch is tarmaced, the problem will solve itself
just like special teams missing field goals that would keep SC at a two score lead
and the safety SC gave up to Tulane for the winning margin
Grinch's fault

And yet, per the broadcast, CW is way ahead of where he was last year. Something doesn't add up.
Uh hello? Did you not read my posts two
Minutes after the game?
I broke it down by drive and by Caleb's performance.
Caleb was 2-6 for I think like 29 or 49 yards. With a pick. And about -15 rushing yards. He was awful
