That is a drop off on the defensive staff IMHO. I don't see anything in his resume that says this guy is a hellva coach...disappointed with this hire...at least hire someone who can recruit the position...
This link has no info on him moving to USC, it’s just an interesting article on the guy.
The guy I got this info from is saying this is happening and there seems to be more than smoke. He is right a lot when it comes to recruiting and coaches.
We should know soon. I don’t know if UW will fight to keep him. I am reading the guy is a bright guy. He was offered a DC job, accepted it and then changed his mind and took the UW LB job.
I am interested in knowing what Mandb thinks about him as a coach. It seems to be an out of the blue hire.
His stint at Bama is a high point but so short of a tenure, along with the UW job. I don’t think Saban hires guys unless he thinks they are capable. But I just don’t know enough about the guy.
Good enough for me… we shall see. Wonder if he was really considered for the UW SC gig. I just found out the ex head coach for Purdue was named UW’s new DC 6 days ago.
Oceanside hs grad. Doesn’t appear particularly upwardly mobile. Career lb
Coach. Probably 40-45 Sure why not. You can’t have too many stars and egos on one side of the ball and Lynn. Henny and belk are 3 big names. This guy isn’t. Maybe it will work. Probably works cheap and at usc that’s job 1
