If Fisch goes to UW, someone needs to cut Jarmond's brain out and pickle it and send it to the Centers for Disease Control for advanced study on the brain chemistry of idiots.
Only a Duck would even suggest Wilcox as a candidate for a top job. Yes, I know he turned down the Ducks. But you were silly to offer in the first place.
I would hire the OC. Split up that long partnership[ and then offer everyone else on the staff a promotion. Keep most of the staff together and force Deboer to rebuild on his own in Bama.
I'd choose Jonathon smith over KK every day of the week and twice on Saturday. I think much higher of J Smith than LAD does. Still have to wait and see about the fit in Lansing. I wouldn't bet against Smith tho.
Just my thoughts on the possibility of Kingsburry leaving. Shrug. As you mentioned, there is value and experience there. But going all the way back to Tex Tech, still waiting on results.... f'n 100 dollar haircut guy
Not sure I agree . You make some good points, however, I personally believe Deboer is not only a better hire overall, but a better fit as well. Bama is still run by conservatives for the most part. Again, jmho, but I think DeBoer's demeanor is more what they want. Lanning needs to mature a bit, in more ways than one.
Lanning is a big mouth....with Phil's cache behind him...not sure he could stand the pressure at BAMA without that reinforcement......of course he would be walking into a pretty good situation and might get by for awhile but then we would find out whetther or not he can coach...something he has come up short on so far...
Brock Huards narrative agrees with you. He thinks the whole staff is going with him and as good as Grubb is, you can't go into the B10 with a first time head coach.
That was classic. And there are some good tips for another coach from the state of Washington to be mindful of as coach at Alabama now in the link below. Never heard the full sordid tale of Mike Price's downfall....very interesting reading.
Freaking Wilcox? Absolutely horrible as USC's DC. The King of the Losing Season and 36-43 at loser Cal is exactly where he belongs.
Obviously you'd love Wilcox to take over the Huskies so you could finally start beating them. What a crack up!

Let me throw some fuel on the next coaching rumor. Jedd Fisch. Said he was bringing some AZ boys. idk
Seems crazy & logical in some perspectives.
Does he want to compete in Big12 or B1G. No idea. Better place in the stepping stone creek?

Interesting...any thoughts from our Trojan friends?
Hey tee, UW wouldn't be looking for a new head coach if Lanning> would've taken the Bama job. You know, the job he was "offered"
I wonder of Johnathon Smith is shaking his head now. I heard he coveted the UW job.
Fisch to UW, Grubb to UCLA would make me happy if Chip leaves for an NFL job in some capacity.
Grubb, current UW OC would be great hire.
Saban wanted him bad, but he chose to stay at UW.
Seems to have the number on Lanning's 'vaunted' defense.
Could continue to build on what Deboer already has in place.
I can see Fisch.
Pete Carroll is in the city and available. That would suck
Fisch is a good call. Not too big a name yet. Or Leonhard? He is still out there jerking off.
Maybe Shephard
