I wouldn't put UCLA in the top 25, just outside is fine, but they have not earned top 25. I did say Riley is not a magician, USC does have new blood, but that only goes so far. You can give a fat dude a blood transfusion from an athlete but that won't make him run any faster.
the top 3 of Bama, Ohio state and Georgia is solid. After that, I don’t like it. ND, Michigan and even Utah don’t seem like top 10 teams with the coaching losses and player losses.
keep in mind the poll is 2 months old and the roster at SC is not close to being done. That said , preseason polls Use previous years records heavily, and we were 4-8. someone here said Riley is a coach not a magician (daystalker?). true.The hype from spring practice is big. It has been closed to the media, but players have been saying someone is always open. 9 wins is reasonable, and a top recruiting class, with the big run the following year. Calebs last year.
