You are confused or just repeating mis-information. UW has a couple of very strong NLI collectives and is being used for established players.

UW does not purchase high school players.

That will change after they get pushed around in the Big.....at least by the elites in the Big...elite teams cannot compete living just off the portal and recruit HS kids wihtout NIL these days it appears to me..

I don't think the NLI structure will look like it is now in a couple of years. What if the NCAA is to be dismantled and a new organization (private like the NCAA) where the colleges agree to set and enforce rules? What if the employees (players) enter into collective bargaining?

Will programs like oregon, ohio st, texas and most of the SEC want to keep the free for all and form their own semi-pro league and matters not if players are on track to graduate (I guess you would need to attend and pass 1 class to be 'associated' with that university)? Those would be a good place for those who are not interested in college anyway and they can have their own Professional College Football Super Bowl. The rest can still enjoy the intrigue that makes college football fun.
