Dear Abby,
2021: average PAC quarterback on crappy ASU team in the process of imploding
loses to BYU and three crappy PAC teams
can't any big game
2022: same average PAC quarterback from crappy PAC conference
is unstoppable against the best SEC defense of all time with the best SEC coach of all time
if not the best NCAA coach of all time
with NFL talent at every position
otherwise known as Alabama
for the win
What's the difference?
Signed,
Confused, but Happy in Red Stick (Jayden Daniels)
Daniels was a really good quarterback in a crappy program
I wouldn't say Daniels was average at ASU. I think he was definitely above average. The difference has been a combination of better coaching and better offensive players to help him do his thing on a more consistent basis.
You make an interesting point
