SC was a huge fan of the 7 blocks of granite that played for Fordham in the 30’s. They are famous for two things, playing 3 straight 0-0 ties with Pittsburgh and having Vince Lombardi as one of the 7 Blocks. I believe SC was a huge fan . They played his kind of football. Can we bring back one platoon football too. That is what real men play. LOL

I haven't watched a baseball game in about 30 years. I haven't watched the NBA since Jordan retired (for real) from the bulls. I haven't watched the NFL for over a decade.

I can walk away from CFB just as easily.

Although I agree with you, I think the only way cfb loses a significant amount of fans is if a number of OTHER things happen (limited # of “super conf“ teams, no TP regulation etc). Football is king in this country. That’s good and bad. Bad because less than 5% of fb fans actually know what the hell they’re watching. I’m not going to go as far as Xs and Os, I’m just saying they don’t even know the basics of the game. MOST football fans these days play fantasy football. They root more for players as opposed to teams. They go to super bowl parties and discuss fb with their wives. The real number of true fans of the game do not have the numbers to make a difference. And while they, the shot callers, are hurting the game, Im still watching (college, no nfl). There’s still nothing better…. But yeah, I’m in full protest
