SC offense and defense has played pretty well so far with what I'd consider fairly vanilla play calling on both sides of the ball.
What have they not shown yet, considering the strength of their schedule and the better coaches ahead of them? A couple off the top of my head include #1 Branch not being very involved in these first 2 games, and basic D with little to no blitz packages.
Not too many explosive, long plays on O nor many sacks or TOs yet on D. Thoughts?
In the RPO, QB Moss has not pulled the ball from the mesh and run. Heck, the LB's and DE's are keying on the RB's which makes it tough on the running game. When USC plays the top D front 7, Moss has got to run sometimes. Or, C.LR O is going to struggle.
QB Moss must keep the D front 7 guessing.
