In all fairness....looking at it another way....this move "sucked out all the air out of the libtard narrative." Not happy about it....but this killed the liberal narrative.
It's all about metrics. USC wants to show that they are a sensitive and caring university that doesn't tolerate knuckle-draggers and mouth-breathers, even if they occasionally do. It's actually a smart move -- in the short run.
Yup. This is why USC named the DB coach as the interim to replace Helton. Short-term PC choice, but long term they went with Riley, not a Radio. I expect Sosna to get the offer, unless USC can convince Bama's AD to come back west (Saban's not gonna last forever and if Riley starts incorporating a more physical scheme to his game plans and practices, USC is the long-term star on the rise, while Bama will go back to the shula days.).
She will not be named the new, full time, AD. It’s a good short term hire in terms of appeasing. Don’t think it’s a big deal. Now if you hire her twin for the full time gig, then I agree with you…. I think USC has a great opportunity to hire a top tier AD. That means I believe quality ADs will want this job. They will take this job if offered. It remains to be seen if Folt makes the right choice. What’s the time table? before the end of July? Sooner?
edit: I understand your concerns. USC has made some horrendous hires in the past (her ie stank is actually right). USC fans/alum are justified in their concern, but you called out the fork too soon.
The press release says she is the executive assistant associate athletic director, nothing about DEI. Also she is a part of a team for the transition
to a new athletic director. The proof is in the pudding. Let’s see who the new AD is then we can make some logical conclusions. whatever you can say bout USC we seem to be able to overcome bad leadership. We have in the past and we will in the future.
Wow I had to read it twice to find the DEI line. Relax SC, USC has overcome bad hires and will again. she is on a committee to bridge to the new AD. Now if the new AD is a bad hire then we can TALK
Stop claiming you're duped all the time like you're victims.
USC finds and hires bad people because it doesn't want good people - it wants mercenaries. This is what you do when you're always fighting from behind. It's in the DNA of the school.
It's only a matter of time before a new scandal takes place and she is replaced. This should only be temporary. It'll only hurt for a minute. This is just a finger in the Dike. HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA.
Just remember, Lesbos ended up really being a big part of the Trojan war.

60-90 days will remove the Bohn scar...along with the weird Band-aid "woke" temp.
