You always want to protect home court as a college football power. So a couple of minor surprises here....
Despite USC finishing around top 5 in the nation (going by Average Points, not Total Points, since it's all about the Blue Chip Ratio, and not about total numbers), Stanford won the state of CA. Guessing that USC will easily win it back for the 2023 recruiting cycle.
WSU won the state of Washington. Will Washington win it back in 2023, or is this portending a changing of the guards?
Arizona won the state of Arizona. Does ASU recover from its current scandal anytime soon?
Miami won the state of Florida. The Cristobal effect, no doubt! Will it really overpower FSU and Florida, going forward though?
What part of "minor surprises" did you guys not understand? 😝
One would generally not expect Stanford, Arizona, WSU and Miami to land the best HS recruits in their respective states.
But if we'd rather discuss only subjects pertaining to USC directly, I get the point....
Maybe Java should rename this site: "Wild West Jefferson Blvd. Sports" 🤣🙄
Is that trend?
Home schools won their own state's recruiting battles - fascinating. 😴
Wyoming and North Dakota State coaches really built that fence around their states.
What the fuck did any of them win?
