Who was the USC coach in 2012?

Since we know Mc Caffrey committed to his parents school on May 2, 2013

That means he was recruited during the fall of 2012 and the spring of 2013. If not before He already stated it felt like home which meant he's probably been there many times. Dad being a star. I'm sure he had been. Especially with living in Colorado. Playing for the Broncos. And having John Elway in the bronco organization. Also being from Stanford.

So let's get back to when he was recruited. Who was the USC coordinator? The recruiting coordinator 2012? You know? When he would have been recruited and made that decision?

None other than the head coach himself. Kane kiffin.

In addition to his duties as offensive coordinator, Kiffintook the reins as recruiting coordinator that year.

what does that have to do with anything? Lots of kids make requests for visits without an official offer. HAPPENS EVERY YEAR. And who cares where his parents went.

Helton was interim head coach in 2013 during the height of recruiting season and recruiting coordinator for USC in 2013. That fact like all FACTS does not change.

It was posted at the time that he wanted a visit to USC. He was told NO. It was posted that it was Helton to told him no. I read it. It happened.

maybe he wasn't offerred a visit because he wasn't offered a scholarship. makes sense.

maybe the kid just wanted to check out USC with it's storied running back history. Bush would have won the heisman when he was about 9 or ten. That's the age I became obsessed with USC football playing pop warner football.

I don't know for sure what happened or who told him no. just that I read it was Hugs.

What I DO KNOW is that I didn't need a time machine to know that Helton was interim head coach more than once, FACT, and was recruiting coordinator FACT when McCaffrey may have made the request. Which was the point of my post. sc

So you're right. Helton was head coach at the height of the recruiting season for gosh. Maybe 6 hours.

Helton is fat dumb and stupid for not flipping the mc Caffrey commitment of 5/2/13 in the 6 hours he was head coach and in charge of the program lol
