well, my little yellow friend. Jim Leonard is the flavor of the month but
I would hire Garry Patterson to run the defense.
every whore ie coach is available.
who would you hire? some idea? Any idea? Let me guess you would give The Grinch a raise. since you don't seem to know much about college football, let me try and help.
"Beating UCLA and ND back to back isn't acceptable. Being undefeated In California isn't acceptable."
Wake me when they start handing out trophies for all of the above, LOL! This is why you're a trINO. All the real trojans I know never settle for consolation prizes.
I enjoyed the hell out of the season. So fun to watch.
Posted that the season would last as long as Caleb stayed upright. How did tht work out?
didn't have any idea that a player could tell the head coach he wasn't coming out of the game. Never even considered the idea before 162.
never want to see it again either. It's simply not acceptable.
I don't think those that claim to love USC football and WORSHIP any w2 employed, replaceable coach is a good idea. But' I'm not a rah rah. I'm a realist.
Being a TROJAN is about CONQUEST, not being undefeated in Kalifornia. sc

Was really alarmed to hear about this too. No reason Caleb should've been on the field with that injury. Moss should've at least played the 4th quarter. He's capable, can probably read a defense better, and moves a little betetr than Slovis.
Yet 3 out of the 4 teams in the playoffs are ranked in the top 12 for total defense. Guess the old rules of football aren't obsolete after all.
Loved the offense this season. Didn't enjoy watching the defense at all. If we want to win another title, it's gonna take a solid defense paired with that high-octane offense. Not gonna make it to the playoffs with a 102nd ranked D
For the record, this is what I wrote when Lincoln Riley was hired:
I get that you can debate whether Riley is a Grand Slam, home run or great hire. I can't imagine someone thinking there was a better option out there. You can pick apart anyone's record or their motivations. LR included. But that resume he has is about as good as USC or anyone else will ever get. You don't just hire away guys from top programs after 5 years. Doesn't happen.
I think Grinch did a great job with tools (players) he had to work with. The SC defense had to focus on turnovers to stop its opponents.
