Why are DTs So Underrated?

Big big big believer this is a Top 3 position of need for any team. It’s treated as maybe #10 IMO.

Think of the great Carroll D’s at USC. Who have we had after Cody, Patterson and then kid who played for Saints. oh yeah. Sedrick something.

Most valuable positions now are QB, WDE, LT, CB and WR.

RBs are no longer the hot commodity. Every team has 2-3 they cycle in.

RB has the shortest life span in NFL at just over 2years. You do not waste first round picks on RBs.

Which means Dallas Cowboys will absolutely draft Jeanty at 12, a guy with over 800 career touches. 😂

Good list. That is the narrative. I think it’s misguided tho.

I would put DT on it and take out WR.

And it’s two different lists (at least a few more Years anyway) in the NFL vs college. Elite CBs are so huge in the NFL.
