Frost gets fired today and gets $15 mill buyout. Oct 1 in drops to $7.5 mil. Makes no sense. They’re not going to hire a new coach until the end of season anyway.
Do schools just throw away millions for no reason.
So what’s the protocol for Georgia Southern? Do they puff out their chests like they really accomplished something or do they just go about their business, realizing the team they beat stinks so bad they fired their coach?
I gotta confess, I thought Frost would do well at Nebraska, as in Kirk Ferentz level. 8 wins, Florida bowl game, etc. never thought he’d go 5 years withou so much as a .500 season.
Nebraska made a statement here. They want to get back to playing “good” football. They’re going after a big name this off-season. Don’t know if they’ll get what they want… we shall see
Totally stupid. Wait two weeks. Save $5 million or $7 or whatever. Here’s what I find funny. What agent negotiated that? Why that date? 10/1? I mean. The agent is like ok you can fire him midsession. AFTeR 10/1 and we cool. But tarmac him before conference play? Mmmm bonus time baby.
who the heck sets a deadline mid season! Any September or October during in cfb is Giving up on the season and a dumpster fire.
maybe they can get bo pellini to fill in. I mean. They’re probably still paying him. Lol

Obviously I missed something. Did clay tarmac frost?
and why give your interim HC the headache of playing his first game vs Oklahoma.
Agree. Frost probably should have been canned after last season. As USC has fully demonstrated, interim coaches don't pan out.
I was told last night. Yeah, 7 mil is 7 mil. Any AD with a brain would wait until Oct 1 or 2
