The Ducks are a good team but they don’t have a lot of NFL talent. WR Franklin might be a 5th rounder. A few of their o-linemen will be mid-rounders. CB Gonzales will be a 1st or 2nd rounder. They don’t have much of a pass rush, so I don’t see any of their D-linemen being NFL players. Sowell will be drafted but he’s not a dynamic player.
Georgia OTOH has about 15-18 starters who will be drafted, including 4-6 1st and 2nd rounders. Those 7,8, 10 yard runs vs UCLA are 1, 2, 3 yard runs vs Georgia. Nix has to pass on 3rd and long with a pass rush in his face. His #1 target Franklin is going against a DB who is bigger, stronger, faster, and quicker than he is. Good luck. Charbonnet ran for over 150, Georgia RBs would run for over 200.
LOL.... Why ya gotta rain on our parade like that, vistaldel11? 😜
No doubt Oregon would still run into a buzzsaw in any future game this year with Georgia. You don't need to be a buzzkill about it... 🙄😂
I think what's exciting for us quacks is seeing steady improvement from a team and coaching crew that had rarely shown steady improvement since the Chip/Mariota years.
And if that virtual coaching toddler Lanning can combine what we are also seeing as pretty good game-day coaching with excellent recruiting, there may come a time (fairly soon even!) where Oregon will enjoy a much greater chance at beating a Georgia team.
Not sure there are many in the p12 who can say the same..... 😎
UCLA would hopefully make adjustments and it would be a neutral site. So, not sure about that. I’ll take my chances with NIx not having another perfect game. I’ve seen him play too many times to know that‘s not his normal level of play. I will say the Ducks are the best team in the PAC 12…but Georgia’s domination was no fluke.
Just like the Ducks would destroy UCLA again. Enjoy the Big ten. You’re looking at .500 there. Ohio St , Michigan ? Yikes.
