For the love of Christ, don't you think you should....Oh, I don't know.....wait until Lincoln Riley loses a fucking game this season before you compare him to Joe Biden?
Roberts, and the organization on the whole, had a brilliant regular season. Roberts should win NL Mgr of the year and Friedman executive of the year. Roberts got 100 wins out of this ragtag group of has-been and neophyte pitchers. The top four starters, outside of Kershaw, pitched scant little in the regular season and are not pitching at all now: May, Buehler, Urias, Gonsolin. All while saving money in an attempt to lure Ohtani.
Roberts should not be in that group. I'm NOT saying he's good, but I'm still not sure how the LAD won 100 games in the regular season missing the starting pitchers who had Tommy John, shoulder injuries, were victims of the cancel culture or just plain stunk. Lux' reoccurring injuries killed him yet AGAIN. You also can't go 1 for 13 with runners in scoring position (and the one hit was an infield single) against a team with a meh pitching staff in the playoffs.
