I actually see the landacaoe and read the history. No 12-1 conference champ has ever been left out. And with the heisman winner playing that doesn’t add up. They’ll have beaten 3 ranked teams in a row and 3 ranked teams on the road. Something no one else can boast. Their resume would be overwhelming.

And um sec and all that. that argument is getting old and people are finally wising up to what I’ve been saying for years The sec has . 2-3 good trams every year. Usually one great one. Like every other conference. The bottom half sucks. They don’t play Road games nonconference. They play division two teams. And they only schedule a conference games. The whole thing is a bit of a sham. And people are wising up so I don’t see Alabama being elevated beyond USC it seems like every week. There’s a new excuse. Oh, let’s put Tennessee there. Let’s put Kentucky there. Let’s put Alabama there. People are tired of it. It’s a fake and now people are onto the SEC.

It has nothing to do with the SEC envy you have or your mis-characterizations you love to push. I'm merely stating what some of the "experts" on places like ESPN are stating. They actually had odds at 83% OSU as the number four seed favorite after their annihilation by Michigan and USC was at 14% and they even had another team ahead of USC. Networks will have a lot to do with the final picks along with those bias's built into the selection committee. I hope you are right on the rationale for USC but I wouldn't bet the house on it.

The goal is the playoffs. Recruits today don’t care about bowl games. They care about the playoffs.

What people don’t realize, losses happen when you play a lot of other teams with a 1 or 2 next to their name. Jesus, even Saban, who’s the best all time has lost 3 of the last 6 Title games. Yes, Saban, .500 in the last 6 championship games he’s been in!

Think about that for a sec…

Fact is, winning at that level is extremely difficult.
