Ever been on the sidelines for the UGA football team? Hard to beleive that the NFL players are much bigger on defense...especially when three of their defensive linemen went in the first round last year and possibly more this season...let me add the sec in general is not known for shrinking violets in size or speed on defense...he seemd to hold up there OK...
not questioning his courage. It's a physics thing. It's Kinetic energy.
The MOST important thing in the formula for kinetic energy is Velocity, not Mass . It's so much more important it's freaking squared.
You're a gun guy. You understand how much more important speed vs the mass of a bullet. What makes NFL players NFL players is speed and quickness. They are freaks of nature . Don't have that twitch and it's a wrestling career.
Anyways, Kinetic energy has to go somewhere. And as slippery as young is , he's a small boned dude.
I have always enjoyed watching him play. Wicked smart. Rips defenses a new one with his brains more than his arms.
But , like the dolphins quarterback, he's going to be squashed like a bug. hope I'm wrong. sc
It's a risky call on any QB IMHO....this kid does his reads and options better than anyone in this draft. Hope he goes later to a team that can block for hm and who has speedy receivers. He can make all the throws as well...wouldn't surprise as the Number one guy but I hope he goes later to a much better team...the Ohio St kid looks like a lock to me...but I'm not sure he has the mental game down and his passing can sometimes be erratic...but he is much bigger than young and has nice athleticism IMHO....and he'll need it.
Have you ever been on the sideline of an NFL football team?
Not only are these elite athletes, they are fawking MONSTERS. Absolutely HUGE. These people can not shop at Nordsroms.
No way that kid stays healthy. Zero. Zip. Nadda. sc
