@firenze5 I think they will do well but until I see what the roster looks like and how well they play in a couple games I won't know how well they will do...obviously the schedule is friendly to them but their is a learning curve and injuries, as well as the S&C kicking in before how much of an improvement will appear. I just want to see in the first season...teamwork and the elimination of the garbage I saw under Helton...instead I want to see heart, tackling and an offense and defense that can adjust to begin with..
@OldHickoryTrojan Well, the coaching simply could not be any worse , so I will give you that. And yes the schedule is friendly.
I'm a realist. Don't do wishful thinking. Don't think putting on a new set of knee pads for the new coach helps my team win anything. That's not what I do. I look for what needs to be addressed so that USC can once again compete for a championship. The defense that Rilley was in charge of at oklahoma is not acceptable and won't win jack shit at USC either.
USC simply does not have the horses to compete right now. That's my opinion. I don't see a single player in the trenches or linebacking corps at SC that will play on sundays. You see one? Who?
And Rilley has had plenty of time to put a staff together. The fact that he doesn't know anyone that Stoops didn't hire is on him. ps. we both want the same thing. you know that right? sc
all going according to plan
Agree with that OHT.
Gotta start somewhere. such an indictment of Hug‘s Coaching “legacy” & impact. Never should’ve been given the job.
oh boy another short receiver. now if he can just get six more, we will be all set. sc
