Yep, Oregon #1 in the AP Top 25......

.....but only for now. Still two pretty tough upcoming games at Michigan and at Wisconsin.

Just fun to be back on TOP. Last time we were here it was 2012....for a week. Before that, we were here for a few weeks in 2010. And before that, nada.

Who knows how long it will be this time? Just make the playoffs, baby....right? That's all that matters.

And I fully get that Georgia is probably a better team, top to bottom, than Oregon. But I'm guessing an Oregon vs Georgia game now at a neutral site would have Georgia maybe a 3 point fav, if even that. Maybe a pick 'em. Satisfying to see how it's taken Lanning only 2.5 seasons between being blown out by #1 Georgia 49-3 to now likely being fairly even with Georgia AND ahead of them in the polls at number 1 to their number 2. Crazy. And NIL definitely helps, but it doesn't take the place of solid coaching, nor can it alone get a coach 29 wins in 34 games.

Speaking of which, these quacks have wins over the current #4 and #17 teams in the country. Win on Saturday at Autzen, and add a win over the current #20 Illinois team as well. Pretty good resume.

What's interesting about the current AP Poll, other than Army and Navy both being listed and undefeated, is that there is not a single other former (or current!) pac-12 team listed in the Top 25. And this after the p12 showing out in 2023 so well.

Can't figure it out? At least the B1G got their money's worth so far allowing podunky Oregon to tag along with USC.. 😉.

Big ten needs to add Calford for a western division. All this travel is gonna kill everyone. Calford sports gonna get hit hard in ACC. You can’t play half your games 3k miles away. Stupid.

Give them a third share, still more than they are getting.

Cal and Stanford have shitty attendance except for Cal-Stanford. USC and Oregon outdraw Cal and Stanford when playing in the Bay Area. No business being in the Big 10. There were morre SMU fans than Stanford fans at Stanford Stadium in the 40-10 beatdown on Stanford last Saturday.

Congrats. Its Impressive.

I despise Nike and Phil Knight and your new uniforms every game but you have survived the Coaching carousel like no ones business. Let’s not forget that the ducks have played for a national championship game in recent memory. you have had a great, sustained run imo.

winning is fun. Autzen is a party. Enjoy the run!!

Would much rather it be Oregon then anSEC school. I will always have loyalty to the pac.

The Ducks are really good and will play in the NC game. I’m getting sick and tired of all the whiners with their Uncle Phil BS, Ducks are getting it done on the field.

I’ve said that Dillon is a playmaker and the best college QB out there along with that Sanders kid from Colo.

Credit to Lanning he has put a great defense together just like he did at Georgia.
