Where did the Dept. of Agriculture get the idea that it could impose its social agenda on the (local) public (or private) schools? Holding needy children who face malnutrition hostage to their social dictates! This is thuggery, a total abuse of power by an un-elected bureaucracy (and they say that returning decision-making authority to the States, per abortion, is a "Threat to Democracy"). This is an argument for local government; although NYC public schools are a disgrace. I Hope all the Catholic schools tell the DoA to go fuck themselves.
