Have you noticed all the conservatives rioting and tearing down buildings. Setting fires and killing people the last two days? I would be. Trump should have called out the national guard and opened fire on half those crowds. But then people would have whined about that too

He fucked it up, yes. But I think it wasnt due to what he really wanted to do about it. I think the pandemic was the one or few times in his life when he actually listened to people (the "scientists" like Fauci),because there was so much as stake with people's lives on the line. Could not afford to do is his way and be wrong. Do I believe he wanted lockdowns in the midst of a robust economy? No. Did he believe in mask mandates? no. In hindsight he would have been right. But with so many lives being lost, the pressure from the main stream media along with Fauci and other medical experts, is that we needed to take drastic measures, so he did. He was caught between a rock and a hard place. I dont blame him at all for the pandemic. The overriding consensus, especially from the left was total lockdowns, mask wearing, and mandatory vaccines.

I would just say his party started hating it when it became required for ppl to keep their jobs.
