I grew up a big fan of the three letter agencies. I loved THE FBI tv show on sunday nights when I was a kid. They were always the good guys. I thought the cia was protecting America from foreigners. Never was sure the the nsa did, but I always figured they were on my side.

Who knows. Maybe they were all corrupt from the start. We learned from 911 that they don't even work with each other. Americans safety and security took a backseat to fighting over turf.
