If he doenst I’m gonna be very upset with him. Trump gets behind DeSantis and he gives him his base. To your point DeSantis grabs a large swath of moderates who just hate Trump.
Trump is something else. They threw the kitchen sink at him to stop him and they couldn’t do it. But he’s not a politician and that hurt him.
We need a conservative honey badger in 2024 not a cult personality.

I am a big Trump guy. Big. Because He was clearly the best option. Governor DeSantis changes the math. And he will for alot of people.
Sure hope they don’t make this a cage match to the death like Ted Cruz and Trump did.
No winners there. Trump is a ruthless & effective campaigner. He can beat DeSantis here. But DeSantis could be the Better National candiate. I’m thinking he is.
Interesting about how the battle will go between DeSantis and Trump for the Republican POTUS nomination. Trump energizes the base.....but, sadly, Trump will try to destroy DeSantis to win the RED nomination. DeSantis should prevail.....because DeSantis will draw off the moderates who did not vote "RED" because of profound dislike of Trump personally....notwithstanding Trump's strong alignment with conservative agenda and running USA like a business..
