only reason you want FEMA is due to the fact California doesn't do it's due diligence to address their yearly fires and mudslides and earthquakes as they are too busy taking care of illegals and putting so many regalations in place to prevent work being done and with incompetent democrat leadership you need a Republican President to save your asses at the expense of the taxpayer... oh and buy some Homeowner Insurance....oh that's right California drove insurers out of the state..

if you knew how to read, you would know that all money earmarked for FEMA managed emergencies/disasters will now be sent directly to states, instead of funding Catholic charities to relocate and settle illegal immigrants. Money spent on administering FEMA will also be passed through so that states can manage their own recovery.

this makes the most sense, because if a state performs poorly in an emergency recovery, all elected officials can be replaced at the very next election.

compared to when FEMA fails to perform , there is no way to remove FEMA officials especially in a climate where one District Judge from a non-affected area like North Dakota, can over-rule any attempt by the President to reform FEMA
